⭐ ABOUT US — THEKUAWALI

Tradition. Taste. Trust.

At THEKUAWALI, our story began in a small Mithila household where food is not just cooked — it is nurtured. Where recipes are memories, and every festival, celebration, or ordinary day becomes special with the aroma of something homemade.

For years, our kitchen was known among family and friends for one thing:

“Bilkul ghar-wala thekua.”

That perfect balance of jaggery, ghee, and tradition — something you simply cannot find in packaged snacks or factory-made sweets.

People would often request, “Please make extra for us,” and with every request, the idea of THEKUAWALI quietly took shape.

We realised that the taste of authentic Maithil thekua — handmade, slow-cooked, and prepared with care — was becoming rare. So we decided to create a space where tradition survives exactly as it is: pure, simple, and full of love.

What Makes Our Thekua Special

  • Handcrafted in small batches
  • Made fresh only on pre-order
  • Free from preservatives, colours & chemicals
  • Prepared using age-old Maithil recipes

From classic thekuas to coconut-rich versions, millet-based options, and premium dry-fruit thekuas — every product carries the warmth of our home and the heritage of Bihar.

More Than Just Thekua

Over time, our menu grew to include traditional Bihari winter delicacies like:

  • Gond laddus
  • Methi laddus
  • Flaxseed laddus
  • Dry-fruit laddus
  • Adrak–Haldi Halwa (Winter Special)

But even as the menu expanded, our principles remained the same: Clean ingredients, slow preparation, and honest flavours.

THEKUAWALI is not a commercial brand.
It is a mother’s craft, a daughter’s dream, and a family’s love for tradition.
